Saddlebag install
03/26/05 at 16:53:56
Just added some saddlebag stays and saddlebags to my wifes new savage today and was surprised to see the voltage regulater hiding under the passenger seat. I see alot of these with toss over saddlebags on them are you covering the regulater or just putting the straps behind it?
Thanks
Jeff

You can go either way. Won't hurt it. I stuffed the regulator on mine in the airbox about 6 years ago, with no problems yet.

You can put the saddlebags on top of the regulator -- no problem! I did and all is well.
