In case anyone lives around a truck stop, you can buy a pair of LED replacement bulbs from almost any truck stop.  I bought a pair today for $14.  They're a lot brighter than the original bulbs.  Supposedly they last a lot longer, too.  It seems like they had every color in the spectrum at truck stops.  I just got the clear ones so they be bright.  I mean, the cover is red, so I guess they can be any color.
