At Last got my new engine, so if anyone wants an 1986 savage engine thats done 30,400 miles with a gone cam chain, let me know . The new engine and loom, are off a 1999 model. One thing i would like to know is... WHAT THE HECK is that microswitch on the carb for... only depresses when the trotle is fully open? I cant imagine what its for... and bloody heck is my 86 savage loom different to this new one... anyways i think im rambleing on now... ...
Soooo any ideas people?
I should have some new photos up soon here:

The only microswitch that I have ever seen on a carb was a nitrous switch.

As said in a previous post: the European models have the switch on the carburator which triggers the CDI to change something with the ignition timing.
You can safely remove the switches and the wires going to the CDI.

Well simply, it presses the switch when the throtle is fully open.
It has a white connector (one of the oval figure of eight type, kinda, dont know what there called, lol)
I really have no idea at all... But would definatly like to know!
Oh and it looks like it is a standard feature, so that puts NOS out the window (FOR NOW he he he)
Cheers..
