Greg650 and Paladin seem to have their own sites to host pics. This must cost something, but that's exactly what I need. How do I get it and what do I ask for?
My site costs me $9/year to register the name and $6/month for the site on a two-year prepay. I have one Gigabyte of on-line storage and 45 Gigabytes of monthly transfer. Which is way overkill but for $6 month why not?
I started with and most of my names are still registered with
Dotster at $15/year. I moved two names over to
GoDaddy for the $9 rate and after the second move got an e-mail from Dotster saying they'll match GoDaddy's rate.

You start by going to GoDaddy, getting an account, and registering bobo383.com (or whatever.) You then do to
JaguarPC and sign up for the GigaDeal. Take the name server information from Jaguar back to GoDaddy, plug it in, and in a day or two the whole world will be able to find you.
Building the site can be done several ways. Jaguar provides a control panel. Or you can use FTP. Or you can simply set your site up as a network place and treat it as a part of your home computer. (assuming WinXP)
