Sorry guys, but I'm selling the XR500.  My visions of a dirt bike chopper gave way to practicality.  

My wife convinced me that our 78 GS1000 would make a better chopper candidate than my XR500, is already street legal with elect. start and disk brakes, and I could probably sell the XR for near enough cash to adequately chop the GS.  How can I argue with her?  She actually bought the GS1000 at a garage sale, not running, and I got it going.  Come to think of it, she took over my Savage and told me to buy the YZF600 if I wanted to go fast.  I really REALLY love her.
