Actually, thought I saw an oil pressure guage somewhere on the web that fits where the oil-fill cap goes??

What you saw was probably an oiltemperature gauge in the place of the oilfiller plug.
Have one fitted to my bike. It actually gives you the temp of the engine as the probe does not contact the oil.
