Washington state is looking better by the minute.  Here, you have to be a minority or illegal alien to go free on possession.

Don't understand it - never crashed my car on weed, never got in a fight on weed.  But beer is legal and weed ain't.

Bobo, make sure you hold that VLX for awhile...my neurosurgeons said I'd never ride agin. My primary care physician for the injury said wait 6 months post-op and give it a try. I waited MAYBE 4 days post- 1st op... Roll Eyes. I'm closing in on a year post-2nd op without riding.

You only think Wa sounds good because you don't live here... Sluggo, Max, and Allgirl live on the good side of the state, the side basically ignored by state government. On the west (wet) side where I live, it's an alright place to visit and a lousy place to live. ATF/ICE recently shut down the off rez (but still tribal land) smoke shops for not paying state cigarette taxes. Hello, sovereign territory. The psuedo-governor and her cronies just muscled through a 9 cent gas tax raise, that was supposed to take 5 years to phase in (more like 5 minutes in my area). Gods (yes, I'm pagan) forbid you smoke, drink soda or alcohol, have a motorcycle, or RV in this state, they all carry a "sin" tax. My tabs carry a public transportation surcharge...I live over a mile from the nearest bus route. My 98 Savage cost $26 a year to license down south, almost $100 where I currently live. Highest business taxes in the free world. The whole state pays for "improvements" for one city, and it's not even the capitol city. Worst public education in the nation. No jobs unless you like flipping burgers or mowing lawns (and they won't hire non-hispanics).

Enough ranting. Let me know on storing the IronHead for you.

Thanks.  Texas is the only place I've ever lived, and really whenever I leave here and come back, I kiss the ground in sweeeet Texas.

Pacific Northwest is nice, though.

Hey, Bobo, I have a set of pipes for the VLX 600.  Actually their from a 2000 model.  A friend put Cobra's on his, and cut the mufflers off the pipes to see what it would sound like with straight pipes.  Their just the pipes and chrome, not the mufflers.  You could play with them, without screwing up the originals.  I know their fairly loud, but not ear shattering.  Your welcome to them.

For those who may be interested in my 77 H-D xlch, I have some things I'm going to fix on it before I'm closer to selling (including: rebuild carbs, master cylinder, and the kick coil). It will be a couple of months before I get around to it, but I'll post a note in the marketplace when its ready.

After a couple days of riding the M50, here's my initial eval. Its nimble and very responsive (even though its 540pds dry weight). The suspension is great as is the fuel injection system that eliminates the petcock. No more watching the mileage for switching to reserve. There is no reserve, it handles it automatically. A lot of minor things that add up, like lighted LED display on the Speedo, two trip meters, clock, and odometer. Rides smooth and sounds great stock.

I'll be around, this has been a great group.
