Does anyone know where I can find a fat tire conversion kit for 95 savage?  I want to go with a 200mm.

Where can I find pics of that chopped savage on the forums homepage. (the bike in the middle)

190/40/15 on a Savage? Yikes. Isn't that double the width of the front tire? Bet that takes some getting used to, steering effort has to be radically different than stock.

The tire in Sluggo's bike doesn't look like 190/40-15.  Even the sport tires are 190/50-17. I think Sluggo ment 140/90 -15.  Looking at the distance from the tire  to the swing arm and to the belt, seems the widest tire that You can fit will be 150. There is one other factor thou - the wheel. Even if You put 300/...-15 tire on this wheel, the tire will just "mushroom" - it will just be too squezed in the rim and the width wil stay almost unchanged.
Like Sluggo said- either be ready for some serious mods / money / either stick close to what is on the bike.

My understanding is it belongs to John Himmelberger, founder of the site and the smartest Savage rider I have ever met (though virtually only, )

correct me if I'm wrong (I likely am)

Sluggo who made that tire?
I assume all the swing arms are the same.
All 150s are not created equal.
Dunlop-        150/90-15- 25.60 OD x 6.02 w

a front 100/90-18 can vary from 3.9 to 4.2":
(Tire Sizes, in Inches)
---------------Bridgestone----Dunlop-------Metzeler
Size          BT45  Spitfire K491 GT501 ME88 ME880
100/90-18   3.90    4.20     4.06   4.15   4.00  4.01

Tumi said he got an Avon Elan HL30 150/90 to go http://www.thumperpage.com/articles/LS650LTR.html
When I checked, the 150 Bridgestone specs were larger than the eq. Dunlop. Only one way to find out.I am going to try to squeeze one on soon.

The chain disalignment kit needs to become a 10-speed deraleur type after-tranny transmission.  With 10 ranges and 5 speeds we would have 50 forward gears.

Merely riding the bike in city traffic would burn 1,000 calories per stop light.
