lordzamize Ex Member	Alive after a long winter nap... 05/13/05 at 08:24:43 Just a quick/dumb question for everyone: What's the proper startup procedure for your bike after it has been sitting all winter? I'm thinking it's : choke all the way out, set gas to pri, fire up. missing anything? Z

I know people with garages, but they are a bit full with cars and such. For right now it's just something I'll have to deal with. My future goal is a house with a 2 car garage so I have room to work on my truck and my bike! Z

What Mr. 650 said. I've got a 2-car garage -- it's used for pool stuff, tools and the two bikes (mine and hubby's). Meanwhile, my car and hubby's pickup are in the driveway, and his work truck is parked on the street.

What we need to do is just convert the garage into living space, and convert the house into indoor parking.

I have thought about trying this to solve my "lack of garage problem"...look for run-down commercial property with a warehouse on it...buy it...make a living space in the corner (bed, bathroom, kitchen)...have the rest for the really important things like a car lift, grease rack, engine rebuild area, motorcycle dyno, bike rack/lift, a wall of tools, another wall of parts...you know, all of the really good and fun things in life.

My folks have a place in PA and I thought I would ride the bike in the country until I get more used to it. I've only had the Savage since March. The weather is getting really nice for riding!
