The bike survived the pothole incedent without a scratch. Even the dry-rotted front tire is fine.

Even though it could easily have been worse, I'd rather I hit it than a kid on a crotch rocket hit it. A rocket bike likely would have gone down...

I'm going to take the truck over that route, find, and photo document the pothole. The state has a vehicle damage program if you ruin your cage on the rough roads. Wonder if they'll pick up the tab on my arm? Even if they don't, I'll settle for the hole being repaired in the road. I honestly don't mind getting injured if some good comes out of it for someone else.

Ride safe. Watch for potholes and expansion joints (those tend to be broken here as well).
