Thanks for all the kind words......FYI (The directions to make them are in the tech section on this board)
The total investment was low, but like I said in before, I scored a lot of freebies. The metal I used was an old bench grinder bracket made of 3/8 steel that I got for free and cut up. The local high school did the welding for free. I would say that my total investment was about $40.00 including bolts, nutz, washers, the threaded rod, and paint.
I did not have to replace the lower motor mount bolts. These controls use 100% of your existing hardware with the exception of the threaded rod that is used for the shifter. you can get all of your bolts, nutz & washers at ACE hardware here in the states.
I will post a pic of me on the bike. Until I finished this mod, I had serious doubts about keeping this bike. It is just too small for me. I was riding around with my a** on the bit*h pad. You see, I have a bad back and bad knees. I cannot be cramped up for long periods of time. I need to stretch out. With the forward controls, it is a different bike. If I sit as far back on the seat as I can go, I can stretch my legs out to where the are competely straight.

I cant wait to do a long ride. Next mod......Seat lift.
