.......And any other women out there breaking free from the shell......
Thanks for the encouragement and inspiration. Now this is the first "ladies club" I've actually WANTED to join! Did my first short ride without my hubby's supervision. He was coming home today from a 3 hr. ride, saw me on the bike, only he didn't know it was me and thought the bike was a Harley (from a distance) and was ready to do his motorcycle wave to a new neighborhood rider. You should have seen his face when he realized it was me!
Just curious, I've heard some of the fella's names for their bikes here - just wondered if you gals name yours. I did. Hawkeye. Remember, the "Savage" from "The Last of the Mohicans"?
When I finish (assuming I finish) the MSF Course, I'm going to have it painted on the tank in pearl Crimson as a reward to myself.
Thanks again for the support!

You must/have finish MSF. After I finished mine, I'm so much more confident/control with the Savage 8). I now enjoy that long backroad to and from work. Hmn all those wasted years behind the cage ???

Hi Sam!
Don't worry about the MSF class. You'll be fine. It's amazing how much you'll learn in one weekend -- and the evaluation at the end is easy.
I haven't named my bike, although I like the idea of it -- I just can't think of anything.
I hope you'll post pics when you paint "Hawkeye" on your bike -- I'll bet it'll look amazing.

It's so much fun to 'surprise' someone!
I haven't named my bike as of yet, who knows, maybe someday.
I agree with everyone else. You really should finish your MSF course. I just did mine at the beginning of May and what a difference. I have been riding since last July and didn't think it would make much of a difference if I took the course or not. But believe me, it gives you so much more confidence!

I have been riding, on and off, since 1964 and I learned new things from the MSF course to improve my riding.

Ha! That's perfect! Didn't you feel proud?

Well, I don't know that I've named my bike. I call her Jolene, though...

Love the pics! I'll have to wait until my hubby gets back from Fargo to post mine. Give me time to brush my hair, that sort of thing.
