want to do a lot of the modifications that you are all talking about, but which ones seem to be the most effective? If the idle mixture screwed is adjusted, do the jets have to be done at the same time , or can they be done independantly? Also, same thing if the spacer is cut in half or by a third? Any help would be greatly appreciated..wanna get this steed to jump a little!!

Agreed, though you could probably do the spacer mod without rejetting/muffler/air filter - but those three would best be done as a package.
