WOW, how cool. I really like the 3-wheeled tent bike and the monks. Send more pics. I don't get to see much of China here in Texas USA.
There is a China Grove down around SanAntone, but it's not quite the same.

8)Hi ethan ... thanks for the pics! Would love to visit Beijing sometime, but with the cost of airfare likely to go thru the roof in the near future, its doubtfull that I'll ever get the chance ...
Family and I have hosted 3 Exchange Students from Beijing over the past several years ... lovely kids, polite, respectful and intellingent ... a delight to have around!
Enjoy your stay in China!

Thos monks performed recently here in the metroplex Bobo... just a few months ago, in fact. And yeah, I grew up in San Antone and have been to China Grove (of the Doobie Brothers fame) and it was, the last time I was there, the type of simple one-feed-store redneck town I hope to retire in some day. I'm hoping they still exist when the time comes anyway.
Ethan, please post more bro. I've been to Hong Kong a number of times but never made it to mainland China. That's cool.

yes, it was expensive to get here. around 800usd from Los Angeles. Plus getting to LA plus another 100usd for my visa.
My gf is here for a month to study Acupuncture with her school. It is the chance of a lifetime for both of us. Well, hopefull we will get to come back again, so maybe not of a lifetime. I missed some key things I wanted to see like the big art market which I found out only happens on the weekends. major bummer.
anyways, no time to post more pics right now, but here is a website I found while preparing for my trip. These folks travelled all over China and have some really amazing picks.
