The color turned out a little better then I thought it would. I used the normal fender because I think that it matches better with the color, and I also miss being able to use saddle bags. Now I just need some ape hangers...

Desert camo is the way to finish this here bike.
Saw a bike in urban camo ( grey, black, white) looked smashing. Sorry no pictures.

Don't do cammo. Do a black iron cross, or numbers, or perhaps a swastica if the mood hits you.... I'm just sayin, the WWII look is too cool to mess up with cammo. Keep up the good work.

I agree. It looks great just like it is 8) I would definate add the "WW2 era Nose-Art they used to paint on bombers n' fighters" that PerrydaSavage suggested to the sides of the tank.

A couple of examples of that WW2 replica nose art I was talkin' about. I believe there are several manufacturers of this type of stuff in the U.S.

Yeah that would look good!! Thanks for the sample pics.
I might be able to find some graphics like that at my local shop, if not I'll try the net.

I printed out Thumper on white water slide inkjet decal paper:
Few coats of rattlecan clear coat to protect. Don't know how it would stand up to constant sun as thumper gets garaged both home and work. The chessknight on my company van went from black to green under the California sun.
