Hey folks,

Thinking about spending $16 for this to bolt to the bottom of my metal seat.

We have a 12 V - ground system right?  I mean, usually the negative is ground, and suzuki didn't do anything silly here, right?

thanks,

K

good point...  however, if I were careless and bought something with a diode in it... pffft!  What's that nasty smell?

I will post pics... eventually.  Don't forget, though, this is going on the bottom of my metal seat, not the stock fender... maybe I'll lay it on the fender and take a shot or two for you creative folks...

Guys, how about this, on the sissybar?

On the sissybar, as a second - high level brake light.

This as a fender-mounted taillight

And these as side-taillights with indicators on stalks

What say?

Maurizio
PS Sorry for the huge size, on Holden's website they are much smaller
Front light project coming up...

For the 'stoplight', it is a Miller's Replica, you can find it at www.motocycle.co.uk in their online catalogue, under 'taillights'

For the MGA taillight and the dual indicator-cum-sidelamp, it's www.holden.co.uk, which is the parent company to 'motocycle' and has a link to it.

If you explore their catalogues, you'll see what 'British motoring' is all about - they are extremely fond of the days from the '30s to the '60s, much more than we'd think. You can find headlights with built-in ammeters, mirrors to clip in the end of the handlebars, miniature instruments and mechanical gauges (copper capillaries instead of copper wires) 8)

No, I do not worlk for them, but I really really think they have an absolutely SUPER line of items! Roll Eyes

I'm looking at the 2.5" tacho by Smiths, almost 100$ new shipped, but it's the original item from the original '60s...  Smiley

Again, I apologize for the super size, why is it that it comes 4 times the size ?

The board has a default image display size.  There is code you can insert to specify the size you prefer but I don't know it off the top of my head.  I know Mambo gave an example in a thread a couple of weeks ago.
