mornhm - FSO Serious Thumper Offline HMMM Posts: 1105 Gender:	Amperage? 11/17/05 at 13:27:11 What is the rating for the rectifier/regulator on the Savage? What is the normal current draw? I'm looking at heated clothing, and can't find this information on site.

Uh, when I asked a similar question regarding the ignition, Greg_650 said check the fuses, which I have not done yet. The rectifier can put out at elast 6 Amps, which would go to the headlight. I'm willing to bet the ignition will suck 20 A or so, but that's just a guess.

20 amps sounds high for the ignition, 20 A would be more like the total output.
I suspect it is not much different than other midsize bikes, if memory serves it shares parts w/ the GS750.
