Sue from the Hudson Valley NY here.........

Took her out today, its been really hard to find time, only got her out once last week on Thursday and then Today.

Put another l0 or so mile on her, practiced my skills especially starting from a complete stop on a hill.......

Im think im getting it down.........only stalled once in traffic today but was able to quickly restart.....

got her up to around 50 mph, boy was that fun...its amazing how much faster it feels when the wind is whipping around ya..........

Ordered a first gear leather the other day, gave up looking for something that was alittle girlie but also had the vents. protective features etc......

So I  got a black and found some Amy Brown patches (she does the cool goth like faireys) on Ebay and Im gonna put at least one the back........ I ordered a few, i figured my girls will grab them in about 2 seconds for any I dont want to use.......the advantages of being the grown up in the situation Hee hee hee hee hee....

Bike is still new (under 600 mile checkup)  will wait to see how she is after that before I do any engine mods, other than the spark plug door mod.

So far have installed windshield.  Plan on bag mounts and saddlebags when the fundage comes available.

did the clutch about a month ago, a huge difference, no more slippage in gears 3/4/5.
am still messing with backfire after doing 2/3rds spacer and 152,5 main jet she still pops randomely when letting off throttle.
what will going with a bigger pilot do to gas consumption ?
oh yeah i peeled off ALL DECALS gives that faded 98 orange a nice clean look

Hi - still here in Louisiana, but relocating due to Hurricane Rita.  My 2002, with 13,000 miles, continues to run well.  I haven't done any modifications and no mechanical problems - just do the routine maintenance.  I ride almost daily and I'm planning on a long trip this Fall or next Spring - trip will probably be to Key West, but I might decide to go to Taos, NM - or do both trips!  Hope everyone else is having fun - take care all.

i seldom ride with others, or with packs. i just don't enjoy it.
i do enjoy the soltitude riding alone offers, just hop on and go. i've got a bunch of small towns around me so i see no problem riding 45 miles to a hole in the wall burger joint for lunch.  there's just something about a greasy burger that slides right on down that the fast food joints can't duplicate.

easy in  easy out.  ok to much info.
