HOW'D I MISS THIS ONE ???

I'm here....just general maintenance this winter, no mods.
In the process off selling house and moving to a new one. So if I'm not joing in you now know why...but I'm still here.
The new house will not be completed until about aug/sept time so will probably have to rent for a while.
IT'S GOT A GARAGE YEAAHHHHHHH

No more poor, cold, snow covered Savage and Bandit

I am planning on selling and rebuilding but it is not officially under way yet.

In that part of the world, when they say buffalow, they are talking about "Water Buffallow". It is a fairly big beast of burdon...used for plowing, pulling carts or broken down tiny cars, or anything else that needs some power to move. For southeast asia, it is the poor mans elephant.
By the way, they can get very rowdy at times.

When I was flying helicopters in Vietnam, it was a common daily occurance to have to dodge the rice farmers and water buffallow when flying VERY LOW AND FAST.

**For an Army helicopter pilot, low and fast means.....150 mph and 3' above the ground...now that is fun!!
(This is wild, my heart rate jumped up just thinking about it.)

I, for one, have had good luck with Sta-Bil. I used some once in my old '81 Gold Wing when I had to put it into storage for three years (I was going overseas for a military tour of duty and could not bring the bike Sad

).

Anyways, after 3+ years, I got 'er out of storage and she fired right up. Never had to do any carb work or anything. I can't remember what the old gas smelled like, but it definitely wasn't a varnish smell or I would have never tried to start it without a thorough flush and cleaning.

Removed all S40/Suzuki decals
Painted with blue flames(some say looks more like lightning) front fender, side covers and tank.

Rejetted- Woo Hoo , we R scootn now!
sportster muffler (1 w/baffles & 1 without for bike night!!)
Kurakyn iso grips with blue accent ring of course
new mirrors, oval
few more minor cosmetic mods in the plans
ANXIOUSLY awaiting the arrival of consistently decent riding weather!
