Chrome Vs. Paint

Ok I need opinions. These are the new siderails for my baby. I really wish I could set up a poll but I can't so lets do it this way.

Flat black like the pipe...

Or Chrome it out? (chrome yet to be added)

Oh yeah, flat black looks really great against the yellow.

I like the black with the yellow, if it were any other color I think I would say chrome. Both would look good. I like that flame pattern more than the first.  Grin

You don't want something as large as the exhaust pipe being black then putting more chrome back on.  I think the chrome on your bike now is the perfect tasteful amount.  You started with the exhaust, bring it to the accent pieces like that flame.  Black is the way to go...

Sorry, had to evaluate on my original post...  Grin

If you are gonna have flames, make 'em red and orange.  Chrome is a bit tacky. Flat black, no way.

Thats sort of how I see it. Chrome is an accent not a color.

Man I love this bike. These things are so versatil. I mean they come from Japan so naturally appealing that you can do anything to them and they just get better looking (even yours Vroom Grin). Or you can do nothing to them and they still look better than most other bikes. Even the more exspensive ones. The rake angle is a great visual asset as well. One of the reasons I bought it to start with was the rake.

I just checked out the black again.  I just noticed how cool the shiny bolts look contrasted against it.  I may copy you  Grin
