Hey
My name is Keith (Sounds like I'm at an AA meeting LOL)
Well I'm new here to this site, about time I'm new at someting, I've been trying to ride murder cycles for some 38 years now and have owened ridden just about everything for 50cc Hondas to 1800cc Gold Wings with a handfull of Harleys and Beamers too. I always liked the SAVAGE so I got an 03 to try as a work bike,
I'm looking forward to rideing it and talking to and learning from you folks here.
Thank You, Thank You very much!

well welcome aboard - stock they're fine bikes - tweak them a little and you can wake them up a great deal - either way they make fine commuters

Your problem is to solve a very lean over heating condition in order to make the engine survive longer. A lean backfiring engine is death sentence to the heads. My solution to your condition is a spacer mod, K&N drop in filter, iridium plug, and a sporster muffler. BTW what year is your savage??

Hi,
I am a new motorcycle owner and I am concerned about how I am learning to ride on my Savage. What about riding for a half hour or so at speeds less than 40 mph? Will this hurt my engine?

Thanks for the reply.
Have soiled diapers really been hurled at you?
I have another question for you and/or the moderator. How can I register on this site? I have tried three times to register. Every time I try to log in, I get wrong password. Then when I try to have my password sent to me, it never comes.
Or, I get user name is already used. I really am not stupid but I feel like it.
