Went for a ride to pay my respects at the south wall. Many, many bikes were parked and crusing around the area. It was a rather emotional event. Came back the real long way and it dawned on me that I should remove the spacer and see how the bike ran. When I got back I opened up the carb and removed the spacer. BTW, I was suprised at how hot a carb really got after a long ride. Then put everything back  and fired her up. The sweet spot was about a 1/3rd turn in from the previous setting and reset the idle. Went for a ride near the beach and it ran better than ever. My carbs didn't overflow even when I watched the bikini volleyball game. I'll watch it for any problems, but I do believe I have found savage nirvana
