any suggestions for a muffler upgrade? - it's a little too quiet...

still under warranty - will this void it?

what about the seat?  need something more saddle-like

No doubt any mods will void the waranty. Does that matter for a warranty that basically covers a suzuki fu*ck up??

It's only a one-year warranty anyway.  You could always just wait it out while you research and get your best deal.

I bought a Super-Trapp about a year ago and really like it. The sound is fantastic! I've found that 7 spacers work just right.I use 1/2 spacer in the carb. I think performance is greatly improved. When you are going 65 and you back off the throttle the deceleration sound is unbelievable........ Smiley

It is pretty sweet isn't it? I was riding Sunday with a bunch of bikes and the Savage was flyin'. No trouble keeping up with most any bike (within reason). I like my Supertrapp too Grin

I don't think adding an aftermarket exhaust voids your warranty. Suzuki will still cover broken stuff that is unrelated to the exhaust.

i bought the extended warranty when i got my 06(2/01/06)can not find anywhere in the paperwork about mods...
ive since been playing with different muffs did the dyno jet stage one(save your money and buy stock mikuini jets and the spacer mod)
as a suggestion a good start on your muff is to buy a used H.D. sportster muff( e bay or your local H.D. shop)if they want more than $20 or so walk away..i lke the 90s version  it has a slide type mounting bracket insted of the tab alot easier to adapt to the suzi arm without drilling....ive since ruined two sportster muff by drillin or punching out the disc to get a deeper sound sound like my gremlin bell is inside the muff ringin its ball off..
