my name is debby, i am 40yrs young, 5'5", and my husband (azjay), finally talked me into taking the msf course in pheonix, and now i am wishing i would have done it years ago

. i have been riding on the street for about two months it is so addicting

. i have been riding atv's in the dirt, but they are or were automactic clutches. i was at first, intimidated by the clutch and using my hands for shifting, but as i recall when jay taught me to drive a clutch in the car, i was also intimidated as well (maybe it was the idea of using more of my body parts to drive).
we bought the 1996 ls650 about mid march. the handle bars were too narrow and i felt like i was crowding some of my other body parts. jay found me some flatter handle bars and put a sportster seat on, as i felt like i was sitting on the tank not on the seat, he also added a louder pipe, because the one that was on the bike sounded like it was coming out of an aluminum can, really bad

. it rides nice now.
i ride my bike along side my hubby every chance i get. since mid april i have put at least 1000 miles on the bike. most of the time we have just gone around town and the back country roads about 20-50 miles at a time. i went on my first poker run on my own ride a couple of weeks ago, it was so much fun, i won a digital camera

(been wanting one for a long time husband too cheap to buy one)

.
this last weekend we went to lake havasu on a three hundred mile ride, very tiring on the body parts, when you are not used to it. but thats another story....
