WD -- that saddle looks wider and thinner than stock.  What is it?   I definitely need a different saddle.

Paladin, it is the stock pan, two layers of blue camping pad foam from Wallyweird, and some scrap waterbuffalo leather. I got bored one night while the bike was down and stitched the racing stripe by hand (off center, just like me). All held together with duct tape and 10-1/4 sheetmetal screws.

Most people think it is brutally hard. I find a firmer seat lets me ride farther than a soft seat.

Vroom, they aren't rats, they are roaches, rats are higher on the evolutionary scale... Grin

Pics of the girls? As soon as it is warm enough.  Still in the 50s around here.

When you are out entertaining another woman.  I don't know why, but they seem to object to men paying any attention to any female other than themselves.

Yes! Pics please! WD ... sounds like the weather is the same out your way as here in eastern Nfld. The Blue Knights MC hosted a run out to Cape Spear this morning for a "Bike Blessing" A bunch of us tagged along and just about froze to death!!!

BTW WD ... did "something" arrive at your shop yet?

Nice going there dude!  Once more into the breach we ............................ ride!

For your efforts in resurrecting one of OUR KIND, bringing it back to life as it were,  I have been authorized from urple;">On High to award you with the Medal of "Rescue from the Scrap Heap ... Hero of the 3rd Order", in recognition for going above and beyond mere mortal men in the quest to keep our endangered species alive & kickin'.
Presented this day:  Sunday, the second day of July, in the year of our Lord 2006.

*Note:  It is an extraordinary honor to be presented such an august award at such a young age, and it's not even posthumously, but please understand  that to avoid tarnishing the greatness of such an award the normal $1,000,000 cash prize that typically accompanies such an award will not be issued in this instance.
Just knowing you have been honored in such a way is reward enough for us plain folk.

-Donations to help defray the administrative costs for this worthy institution are gratefully encouraged, and can be processed using you Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Lowes, Walmart, Exxon/Mobile, or any other account you would like us to empty for you,  plus cash, check & money order of course.
(Please note that we no longer accept chickens, marbles or other forms of barter in lieu of cash donations)

She's almost 100% dechromed now. And I'm running an open belt for the time being. I'll convert it to chain eventually, too much like actual work right now.

Speaking of which, I'm off to the shop, I work Sundays.
