crankcase vent

okay...  i got rid of my airbox and put on a pod filter the other day.  love the way it looks and the sound of air being sucked through it when i rev the bike, but what do i do with the crankcase vent hose now?  just leave it hanging?  can i cut it off some so its not just hanging around?  i'm sure this has been addressed somewhere in here but i never have any luck finding stuff.

Hello,

I guess you should put a small filter on it, and fix the hose to the chassis under the tank or beside your new pod filter. I saw a picture somewhere around the web (maybe on this forum) where this solution was made. No dust should get into the crankcase and it must breathe, so try to do so.

The breather vent on KLX comes out of the cam cover, into a hose then uphill (important), to one of those cute little breather filters.

Get a inline fuel filter and stick it in the end of the tube for venting. Ty wrap that end up high on the frame so oil won't drip out. Keep it simple,  Grin
