How many miles on YOUR Savage? (Read 20 times)

911radioman Ex Member	How many miles on YOUR Savage? 05/16/06 at 16:23:56 This might be kinda interesting to see what kind of miles our bikes have on them. Please list the year of our bike as well as your miles. I'll start things off here... 2002 Savage 7145 miles I am the 2nd owner, had 4314 miles on it when I bought it in February.

Reply #3 - 05/16/06 at 17:00:57 '96 purchased used with 38. in Sept. of 98. Ood shows over 29,* now, and part of tht was with a taller tire. Had to do the cam chain bit over the winter and did the leaky plug fix back in 99. Hope to get many more miles in this year compared to last. Max with the LT version of the LS650.

1986 Model had about 18,000 kms when I bought it, it now has about 26,000 kms on it I have owned it for about 7 years, but it was parked on and off for a couple of years, once when the starter drived gear busted and took a piece of the crankcase with it and once when the cam chain adjuster went. also had to put in a heli coil and it got parked again, at this time it is doing okay, thou I am going thru the tune a new carb phase, and seems as I am not the best with the tools, not going as good as I hoped.

Sat from 8/2001 to 5/2005. Has 14,966.8 miles showing. My primary bike was purchased in Sept 2005 with 8805 miles on it. Speedo cable broke at 12, 3** and something miles. Rode it for 3 or 4 months with no odometer/speedometer. Has roughly 16K miles on it as of today. -WD
