Actually, the C50 is in the lead right now.  Much roomier bike for a passenger.

Maybe in other town there are mufflers laying on the gorund - the guy @ the local Harley store (c'mon, with all those do-dads they carry it is not a showroom/service location) said people have have mufflers upgraded take theirs with them.

I know a 40 mile ride is always pleasant, but I'd phone first to make sure they have the mufflers beforte I ride to the Harley emporium, 911radioman,

As for going back to stock - good for you, sir - obviously your (or your loved one's) bike - you pays your money... I can't go back (much the same as going back to Enlgand to live - not a possibility, I'm Americanised) - I had to deform the stock one. It had been shimmed & the shims almost "welded" it to the header.

When I got my bike, the stock muffler already had holes drilled in the end plate. It may have been louder than stock, but it had a very annoying high frequency clicking sound. I put about 4000 miles on it and finally got it changed. So IMO don't drill a stock one.
