No big deal. I'll just continue checking the old-fashioned way before lane changes.
On a slightly related note, I saw a CB550 of 1970s vintage roll through an intersection not too long ago on my way to work. Those old Hondas seem to hang onto their loks pretty well...the paint was still phenomenal orange sparkle over gold sparkle. 'Least I think it was. The ol' boy was moving pretty fast!

Banger
I used to long for mine to be resurrected, But the savage has taken over. No I long for an empty space in my garage via ebay.

The local Suzuki dealer hooked me up with that one. Our local Advance Auto Parts store is starting to carry filters and such for motorcycles, however, and I think I might've found it there at a cheaper price if I had bothered to look.

Looks great Banger! Still like my pick-up bed liner paint job better. Get asked about it every time I ride somewhere.

What kind of muffler is that? Did you say already and I just missed it? It is an interesting shape.

I did say already, but it's okay. I miss a lot of stuff, myself. The can came from a 1975 Honda CB500T, which looks something like this:
Mine was "Glory Brown Metallic" but otherwise looked the same. This one has obviously been very well-kept. A rarity.
The 500 T was descended from the famed "Black Bomber" CB450 twin (they stroked the motor to make it a 500), which was only produced for the US market but has a much better reputation as far as history's concerned:
I rather fancy both bikes, really. Too bad there are so few bikes today that look as good.

Banger

Part of the holes were utilized to make the tie-down hooks on the sides and top of the fender. The rest was good ol' Bondo body filler, which is where you can see the slight lump in the rear fender. No big deal to me, I'll just call it "character" for the bike.
