Well, I wasn't sure how they were attached at first, so I jammed a small screwdriver down in between the plastic dust shield & fork, then just twisted it around until they snapped off. Before that I tried yanking them off from the top with visegrips but couldn't do it. Felt like they were glued on, just a really tight fit though.

I expect to get it in a few days because I'm in Canada and things take longer to get through the border stuff. DianeS.
