The bottom image is the civilian version that was supposed to start production earlier this year but has been delayed. It's a dual on/off-road and gets 102 MPG.

It may not be the most reliable of bikes, but I've always loved the way they looked, and always wished I could ride one.

Back in the 40s, my Grandpa had one after he got back from the war. He blew the rearmost piston through the top of the cylinder in the middle of the King Ranch during a thunderstorm. Fortunately a farmer with a truck happened by and they managed to wrestle the bike into the bed.
