handlebar risers

hey it's almost Christmas,
I am wanting to lower my handlebars on my 07 savage. It came with the tall pull back risers and drag bars and it looks cool. I turned the risers around and it gave me more room, but I really want that lowered look. Has anyone done this and what risers did you use?  Savages seem to run great in the cold and snow.

I too was wondering. I have the pullback bars that were stock on my 95' Savage. I just got some drag bars but the controls will hit the tank with the stock Risers. I was wondering what the smallest size risers I could get that'd clear the tank yet keep the bars as low as I can.

I hope this link works. I removed the risers, (part 10 here) on my 2005. I bolted the handlebar clamp directly on to the triple clamp. I had to get 2 long bolts & 2 nuts from the hardware store for that, sorry I can't remember the size. The stock drag bar hit the sides of the tank this way but I put on an HD Sportster handlebar & it works great. Feels good too. Before that, the bar was too close, narrow & high up for me.

I just replaced my buckhorn with an emco bar with about 3 or 4" of rise and 3 or 4" of pull back with the standard clamps.  Not bad for $25, just a little short in width and height.  shifted the bar a 1/4" to the right and a tie wrap to keep the throttle cable from clanging against the tank.
