what year is this bike ? and what elevation does it live in?

this is a US bike right?

never mind - found it - it's a '98 - man sure doesn't seem to me you should rich at a 147.5 - came stock at 145 (i think) sounds like the petc0ck might be letting it suck gas through the vac hose - cap both and run it on pri a bit and see if you have a different situation

is it backfireing?

here are the rear spacers you should not be able to put them in the wrong way round, Shocked Roll Eyes

I was there a couple days ago,, sheesh.. I never actually compared them, I just made sure they never swapped places.

On my 96 they are impossible to switch as they are different diameter and shape. Max

I agree, and I have this crappy image that I cropped from another photo.

You can run the axle through from the left side if you need the muffler clearance, but keep the spacers the same way.
