At this point if this was a "Fishermans forum" I would declare ALL of you guys liars. Natcherly, since I KNOW me & the crap,, Uh things I say, I  know I am always completely truthful. OHH & sincere, don't wanna forget sincere.. snicker snicker
It's under 30 degrees. We have had over 6 inches rain in the last few days, a pond on the property north was holding about an inch or 2, now has been overflowing for the last couple days. My trash pit isn't a trash pit anymore. It's flooded. So, I am not riding. I am sitting here pretending I am a tabloid writer, making up lies to entertain myself. I am in East Tx, for any who might wonder where the weather has been..

My husband once received a plaque saying "all fishermen are liars except you & me & sometimes I ain't so sure about you"
Did Lake Fork come up at all, Jr. had planned a trip there this weekend but they are now saying more sleet & ice for the weekend. It's still about 32' here, snow on the fields but the roads are mostly clear.

don't know about a bike running faster after an oil change, but I know every bike I've owned does after a good clean & polish.

Funny, mine's the opposite.  After I've worked up a good layer of road grime, my bike becomes unstoppable and will readily plough through any sort road conditions (including a few times I've been forced off the road to avoid becoming a hood ornament).  I think the grime sticks to the tires, turning them into knobbies...

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, used-up, worn out, and defiantly shouting 'Geronimo!!!'
