So here it is I took the HD fender off today and put the bobbed one back on so I took a picture of the rectifier for reference.

mick - just because you store your bike in your living room in the winter & clean/polish it up when you have nothing better to do doesn't mean we all have clean bikes (alright, I'll admit mine is sitting clean too, if not polished, in my garage for the duration, which is not as long as most living in a mild climate. I still chose to not run it all year after many years of all round riding in a cold damp climate back home).
