Riptide, how does that 250 stack up against other bikes? Is iit quite a bit of fun?How does it run? What kinda power does it have? I don't want to get one & it be a gutless machine. But, since they've been around for so long, I expect them to be a real good machine, in bang for the buck terms. I THINK I am looking at the bike I want, I am not seeing another that I think will do what I want, for the $$$ I have. It's kinda cool there's someone else here who likes them. I am 52, but I am very high mileage, shoulder surgery coming up soon.

seems I was mistaken in my comments on the Ninja 250 - by the name I thought it had a real crotch rocket type stance & would not be as comfortable to ride as some of you have indicated. I stand corrected.
