I will check this afternoon and let you know. They are knurled where the risers clamp on. I am very satisfied with them.

John, you are such a big guy I think you would want the wide bars. I would consider the distance from your shoulder to the risers to decide on which angle on the bar ends will be most comfy. If its far enough to have the elbow about straight I would think the lesser bend in the bar end would be more comfy on the wrist. If the elbo will be bent pretty good, then the bigger angle would line the wrist up with the forearm better, or so it seems to me.
I can see the point made about "looking a bit odd on such a narrow bike", but I would think tyhe comfort , safety issue is big enough to cancel any worries in that area.I have the little drag bars on the 05 & it requires real serious steering input sometimes. It does allow me to feel the front end flex & I am looking forward to getting a brace on it.

The dimples you asked about, were you talking about the knurling under where the clamps go? If you get some w/o that & you feel like it needs something to make it solid in the mounts you could drill & pin the bars once you got them just where ya want them.I think thats common on apehangers because the leverage they offer is greater than the friction from the knurling can deal with,

As to width, I was thinkin again. Seems I am most comfy with a bar that is just a bit wider than I am, so my hands aren't straight in front ot between the shoulders. Grab a broomstick & mark the distances off & see what works. Keep in mind the angles the bars have will make the wrist more comfy than the stick allows.

Okay Rob is a neat freak! Unless I miss my guess, Rob uses his turn signals at every turn & cancels within 50 feet of exit. Watches Monk & points out the stuff Monk misses.
