This is not as pretty as the one's KLX has done, but it is mine.  I made the header out of 1.75" OD pipe and grafted on the core from a R&D muffler unit from Revolution Air co.

I had this setup for a while but went back to the one above.

Hut, I got that particular wrap from an ebay ad and as it turned out the guy way in my local area.  It was enough to do several pipes of this size.
I have some left over if you want it.
I just checked it and it will cover the header from the top on down to the bottom bend, but is not long enough to cover the last 6" at the bottom, just before the muffler attachment.  The bottom portion could be covered by a heat shield.
Since it is a bit short, $10 will cover the wrap and shipping both.

KLX .... I am not surprised that you like that one.

The roll was 50' to start and I did my header and someone did another.

There is 9.5' left over, so the previous wraps used 20' each.  The overlap was obviously greater on those.  trying to use the leftover may not look so good afterall.

Looks like this is getting off topic  Tongue I do have some questions about a sportser muffler. I will make a new topic for that.

Back to the carb.... Doe anyone have a pic of what the pilot Jet looks like. I want to order one but I guess there are a couple different types. You can email it to me at tracy at theworldsweb.com

Thanks

Here is a link to the original pic also. Looks like the file was to large to show up good  Tongue

I care, because you have the best looking tank design of them all...and it's green just like mine and Paladin's.

The Y2K Savages were the best ones Grin

I don't remember but I know you can use either one.  I think the stock pilot jet is normally the one without the holes in the sides.
