I have received the cam chain adjuster.
Nice looking job, Verslagen... /thumbsup
I am about to put it on and was looking for what torque I should use and I see 2 Cam chain tensioner related bolts in Chapter 4 - table 2 in the Clymer manual.
One is called "Set bolt" with a rated torque of 20-25Nm and the other is called "Plate bolt" with a rated torque of 8-12Nm.
I assume the bolt I use to mount the tensioner with is the "Plate bolt" and that the tensioner swivels about the "Set bolt" as 20-25Nm seems like too much for an M6 bolt, so... I wanted to ask here just to make sure.
Should I torque this bolt with 10Nm?
PS.
The bolt I'm talking about is the "B" bolt in figure 37 on page 80 in the Clymer manual.

A couple questions:
How well does the verslavy in an old adjuster work/hold up?
Do you need my adjuster first or can I send it back when I change them out? My bike is my daily driver right now.
Is shipping included or extra?
Any idea, from past orders, on shipping time to Pennsylvania? Asking because my bike is at 13,400mi and I've started to hear a slight tapping. And according to experience/popular opinion around the forum, it's time for a new one.

The very 1st one was used, and that was 80,000 miles ago.
It takes a lickin' and is still tickin'
I have used adjusters waiting.
domestic shipping is included.
it depends on the route, sometimes overnite, at most 4 days.
and of course, personnel. I once had a package shipping to me from Lostwages, via houston. The couriers name musta been Wong Way.

Email button is in-fact not working.
I'm interested in the cam tensioner and the head plug.
Will you have stock available soon? I wasn't planning on pulling the motor apart just yet to send the core. And just out of curiosity, where are you finding the new tensioners for $60??

So apparently the person that owned the bike before me was proactive in the longevity of the bike. As I was making plans to upgrade the tensioner while tearing in to my bike for a custom RYCA build, I pulled the clutch/ timing cover off to find a Genuine Verslavy tensioner!!

Good to hear, a "V" stamped next to "Verslagen" in the pic below indicates it was made from a new adjuster usually. Initials indicate made from used adjuster.
Still need a head plug?

You might want to order yourself a gasket, they're cheap.
The chances are that if you're careful, you'll be able to re-use the old gasket.
I bought a Verslavy, sent to the UK, best thing I ever did.
Great service, easy to fit, and peace of mind

If you're just interested, check back in September.
It's just too hot to work in the garage.
If you have immediate need, I got a couple.

I don't need one now as I am only at 7K miles, but wouldn't mind having one hanging around for whenever I get to that point. Considering I don't have a blank to send you, does it make sense for me to just buy one or wait until I have my bike apart in the future and just do a swap then?
If it's cost effective now, I'll participate. If it's extra $ unnecessarily, I may wait until I am really closer to needing one in the next year or so.
