Hi everyone,

Just thought I would do a quick introduction. I am in Liverpool, UK and sold my Harley Fat Boy last year using the proceeds for a new kitchen(!) I have been hankering after some 2 wheeled transport ever since and have just become the lucky owner of a RYCA RR1 bobber based on an LS400. There are actually some pics of it in the customer builds section on the RYCA site - third line of pics from the bottom - the orange one built by Dave Theophilus. I bought the bike from a new member of this forum - Dan. His wife has just given birth and the bobber had to make way for a car. I am going to get delivery of it this week and will let you know my thoughts when I have had a chance to ride it. Will also post some pics when I work out how to!

Hi everyone.  I live in Reno, NV with my girlfriend, who I just bought a '96 Savage for.  She was riding a GZ250, but quickly outgrew it. She needed something light and easy handling with a low seat, but with enough power to keep up on the highway.  The Savage was perfect!   Cool

I've got a few things I have to work on, but it runs pretty good, looks real nice except for a small dent in the tank, and has plenty of get up and go for her.

G'day to all. I have a 2014 s40. I snapped one up as soon as they got them back to Aus. I love the big singles. Now I will be making it mine. First mods were a wind shield and hand protectors (wind can be chilly here) then a ventura luggage rack. I am currently making some plug in extension lights for the rear to go on top of luggage and have installed a sigma mc10 trip meter. I would like to make the seat a solo seat after that.

G'day Scoffer, nice bike
I'l be interested to see a build thread if you make one, I'm always looking for interesting ideas
I hadn't even thought of hand protectors, but it seems like a great idea (even Texas gets chilly in the winter)

Hi, names Ran and I'm now the owner of a 1987 LS650 Savage. I traded my pal Zach for his when he traded up to a newer bike. I recently got a discharge from the Army after getting injured in training. I figured if I can't pursue that dream then I might as well do something else I've always wanted. The bike needs rewiring so I'll be doing that while I go through class to get my endorsement.

Wife and I got into the game recently, myself on a '96 and herself on a '97 Savage.  Life is better riding together!!  I will have some mods done soon and post my own photos then but in the mean time and in honor of tomorrow being Independence Day, here are couple of the wife with 'Ol' Glory'!
