Hello,

I'm going by the name of Kruzader, from Northern California - raised in Los Angeles.

Not sure what exactly was it that attracted me to motorcycling. I think it was a combination of many things, but mainly the fact that I reached a stage in my life where I'am fond of my family and career, but I needed something of my own. Some sort of passion that I can run into, escape to it per se. (although I dont know squat about it at the moment, and hell I'm probably the worst rider on this forum Grin

)

I love to learn and I'm quite bright. Even though my writing skills stink! With the right direction, I can come up with some fantastic solutions or screw things amazingly...either way I'll learn something and teach others what not to do. Grin

As far as my profession, I'm a web+senior graphic designer.

I enjoy: Gardening, Video Games, Boxing, ....and a whole bunch of other things. It doesn't matter if I have no interest in a topic, if I stick with it long enough I always find something intriguing.

Hi all! I've been lurking around this website for a long time but have never said anything! My name is Rayven and I live in Colorado. I bought my 2002 Savage last March (it's also my first bike). I've been doing all of my work myself and this site has been so much help! Thank you! I'm slowly converting her into a little chopper and I'm so excited about it!

Just like to introduce myself. Received my 2007 S40 today. I've liked them for a long time and had never ridden one. Well that changed today, rode it for 30 miles in the rain and loved it. (Lost my temp paper tag Sad

)I've been reading this forum for a couple of months and am going to do the basic mods: pet rock, chain tensioner upgrade and maybe carb. I might do the "trailer bob" someday. Previous bikes: Triumph Trident, Suzuki Volusia. Present bikes: kawasaki Nomad and now the S40. Thanks to everyone who contributes their knowledge to this forum, with this resource maybe I can stay out of the Stealerships. Keep your knees in the breeze. Rambler

Hey Everyone, Bought my 2007 S40 a week ago. It is the first bike ive ever owned, had some other toys cars,boats,utv, and i am no stranger to wrenching. Heck, half the reason i wanted one was because of how friendly they are to work on. anyways im stuck up in Michigan with a foot of snow and i figure ive got about three weeks till we can start riding.
ordering parts and planning for
seat raise,brass screw drilled, dyna muffler with rejet and white spacer
and maybe a few others too.

Thump On!!

Hi S40 people

After spending an hour or two reading various parts of this site I found it interesting and informative, hence quickly decided to join.

I'm from Australia, and at 73 may be the oldest member here, but my enthusiasm for bikes continues unabated. I started relatively late into bikes at age 25, but am looking forward to reaching in a year or so the milestone of 50 years riding.

Most of my bikes have been Suzukis, including 3 Suzuki cruisers. I have test ridden lots of bikes, and back in 1986 I rode a Savage, new to the market and very different to anything I'd ever ridden, cruiser style with upswept bars, one cylinder and only 4 gears. Then the Savage disappeared from the Aus market in about 1989, not to reappear until 2015.

Well here it's 30 years later and I'm on an S40. Nothing has changed! (except for flat bars and an extra gear). And I love it! I do have lots of things to say about the S40, but will use the questions place for that.
