Greetings fellow LS650 enthusiasts! I was about to post a freestanding introduction, but saw this thread and figured this was the place for it. I'm Pete, and as you may have guessed, I'm in the great State of North Carolina. I've been lurking around here reading tech advice for over a year and a half now, but finally decided to get a little more involved. This seems like a good group of people, and I'm looking forward to meeting some of y'all. I've had my 2001 Savage for a year now. Rode her all of last Spring, and Summer the way she was when I bought her. She is my second bike. Number 1 was a beautiful 08 Triumph Bonneville T100, may she rest in peace. Sad

Anyway, I am the third owner (that I know of) of my bike and have been working to rectify the shoddy and sometimes down right crappy work done to this machine. I have also put her on a weight loss program Wink

Pics will be posted upon her return to running order. I love wrenching on things, and this is proving to be a very satisfying platform for said activity. Many thanks to the senior members of this forum for the excellent information!

Stock (for now) black 01... Gonna bob it.

It's an American one but registered in 2005 here in the UK. It shifts along the road nice pops sometimes & generally makes me happy...... IT'S FAR OUT..
