I had mine enriched the other day. They'd put a new engine on it before they sold it to me but it was running really lean. What a difference! I took it out for a 60 mile round trip this morning and I could finally get it passed 45 mph. Before it was enriched it fought going over that. They may have done something else they weren't telling me about but I'm much happier with the way it's running.

Our MSF courses fill up quickly too. When I knew I was going to get the bike I signed up the end of February but the earliest I could get in was May 9th. I keep hoping there would be an earlier opening but so far no.

It sure would be nice if there were basic maintenance classes offered. I know every bike is different but the basics could be covered. I'm trying to get my mechanic to do one. If not for other people at least for me.  Smiley

The bike was delivered by the seller about 3:30 PM today.  Since it's a Sunday, and since he had already removed his license plate for his next bike, I was unable to ride it.  He trucked it here.

I was tempted to take it for a short spin on our rural road w/o a license plate, but as soon as I would have, the sheriff would have made one of his monthly visits down our road - my kind of luck.

So, I go to the title office in the morning first thing, get the title transferred, than go next door the the BMV office and buy a license plate.

Unfortunately, no time to ride if after work until Tuesday - have to attend a meeting late tomorrow and won't get home until nearly dark.

But at least it's sitting in my garage now.
