I dont have an owners manual yet and i tried the search but i got nowhere. In my tool bag there is this little brass plunger looking thing and i have no idea what it is for. It is spring loaded and pulls a vacuum when you have your finger over it and let off the plunger. Im not shure if it came with the original tool bag or not and the previous owner had no idea either. Does anyone know what im talking about? I can take a pic later if that helps. Thanks.

I am just waiting on the price of brass to get high enough to recover my $$$. The twist method works nice. Easy, less squeaking,

So ... if I were to guess what the 90 degree test is, it would be that if you can twist the belt more than 90 degrees, you tighten it up until it has a 90 degree twist. Am I right?

It is the secret mechanical signalling device for Savage owners.
