Posts: 68 South Louisiana Gender:	Removing/replacing handlebar grips 04/20/08 at 17:15:18 I am replacing my handlebars and before starting I am looking for info on removing the existing grips and what is special about the throtle side grip. I found a link for Kuryakyn grip changeout in this section but it is no longer a good link...can anyone out there help, thanks. Paul

Pay attention to which hole the throttle cable sits in. Once you've done that, the grip slides right off the end. let me know if this helps or not.

I've used 3 screwdrivers, worked it inbetween, twisted it around to loosen it, stick the other 2 in equal distant and twist it off.

I have a question about your seat mod. I went all over today looking for a "T" bracket to do my sportster seat mod. The only place that even had them was Lowes, and it was only a 4 inch length. I guess it was a pleasant coincidence that the T was just the right size for the job. You can take 2 straight pieces and screw/weld together.
