tighten them first.  this sounds odd but it works.  you will feel it crack and then back them out.

Yep, Flexible extension and drilled thru the head. Then used an easy out to crack them loose. Would rather do 30 minutes on the stair master, my heart was racin! But Oh so sweet when the little buggered up screws gave in Cheesy . You can do it.
