Recommendations for spark plug in Texas (Read 82 times)

What would you recommend? Is there a part number or place you got it you could point me to. Been a while since I've done these things (about 20 years ), since my little Yamaha 80

Iridium plugs are very popular these days. Despite the advertising, they will make no difference in power, fuel economy or emissions. You will find that your bike will start a bit easier (especially when warm) and that the plug has a much longer service interval than a standard one.

If you plan to change your plug often (such as avery oil change or every other oil change) then it is not a cost effective solution. The iridium plug costs about 3 times what the standard plug does. If you plan to throw it in and forget about it, then its the plug for you.

Everything I say is fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Now that I live in Colorado Springs, I use the stock plug.
