bugsville,
In another thread someone stated that 2004 and later models fit. I found a 2002 seat a lot like yours and took a chance. You will need to do a little fabing to fit it. I bent down the rear mount on the fender, just used a hammer and bent it down to within an inch of the fender. Then I had to reposition the chrome tab on the back of the new seat and bent it to fit under the rear bracket. Then I made a slanted u shaped big bracket that bolted to the seat pan and lined up with the main mounting brackets for the drivers section on the bike. I also cut the pan where it could sit down on the frame more. Before I did that it was too high off the frame. The two cut outs fell right in the flat moulded bump stop looking shapes on the seat pan. for the front I just let it sit on the gas tank/ seat mount. also had to raise it a couple inces to come up and meet the seat pan.
It's very sturdy and fits very nicely on the bike. I like it much better than the stock seat too.
Hope that helps some. Seviersavage
