After what seemed like years, (2 weeks actually) I am back on the road.  Started off ordering from Ron Ayeers a ME 880...because the tread is deep, but they didn't tell me that they were back-ordered until the 24th...so after waiting and hearing nada from them, I call.  Changed the order to 404's..."cuz they have them in stock....5 days later they show.

So, it look like this week, Toymaker rides to school...and I was beginning to tolerate the cage....durn it. Smiley

That is not good, not good at all.  I gave up riding when I took up the responsibilty for small children, got back in the saddle a bit over four years ago.

You know the start of "The Wizard of Oz", where Dorothy steps from the black/white world of Kansas into the Technicolor of Oz -- yeah, that is what it is like.  You start to tolerate the cage, sell the bike, years later get back in the saddle and kick yourself for years of dreary cage life when you could have been riding instead.

And you can't take the time back.

Glad to hear you're back!  There's still plenty of fine fall riding weather left!

I'm hoping to be up for some riding by next weekend.  I am so tired of just going to garage to bond with the bikes!

Its nice to be able to go down the street to the actual Ron Ayers dealership and pick up the parts Grin
