shorter turn signals

i've got an 87 savage and wanted too know if anyone
knows where you can find shorter turn signals/fit closer to the frame
i bought some off ebay but could not mount them
also would be interested if anyone had any modification ideas for
the factory signals Wink

I don't think there is much you can do with the factory turns.  Maybe one of the savvy members on here has managed to mod them somehow and they'll post some pics and/or link.  You might make brackets and run a bolt thru the stock mounts to hold the bracket on and mount the turns to the brackets.  The surface mount LEDs probably work best for that.  Most just buy aftermarket turns and adapt them to the stock mounts or mount them elsewhere and remove the stock mounts all together.

If you're getting rid of your OEM signals, I need a right rear stock signal.
